The nose on this well-packaged single pasteurized sake is a gentle collection of steamed rice, roasted nuts, mineral, and yeast aromas. This fun little can is extremely drinkable. Maybe that’s why they provide the cup! Light, clean, creamy, and bright. It has a long tail that reminds you that you are drinking sake. Not too fruity and not too dry. It is a silky drinking experience. The sake itself drinks more expressive in a wine glass with hints of rice-based desserts, nougat, steamed rice, and rice candy.
