I detected a strong floral aroma more than I expected from other reviews. This is a smooth Saké with strong floral notes up front. The back notes that I detected were melon and dry. Very drinkable Saké I know it’s recommended chilled but honestly slightly warm is not bad either!! Experiment see how you like it!!​​

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.4 / 5) Drinking this chilled out of a beer tulip glass, which works beautifully to catch the aromas. Nose: Vibrant and highly expressive. Dominant notes of crisp green apple and ripe pear, backed by a lovely, delicate floral undertone and a hint of sweet rice. Palate: Strikingly velvety and soft on the mouthfeel. It trades away some of that sharp, thirst-quenching crispness for a smooth, rice-driven sweetness. Reminds me quite a bit of the fruit and floral profile of a Pinot Gris, just with a much softer, lower-acid texture. Finish: Leaves a very gentle, comforting warmth and a pleasant, delicate sweetness that lingers on the back of the palate. An excellent, highly approachable Junmai Ginjo!
