The nose on this prototypical “neutral” sake (Not too fruity not too dry) is a gentle collection of mild rice, mineral water, apple, wheat and balsa wood aromas. This is a super user friendly sake that is so drinkable and light that it tastes like dry water! Yup, I said it, “dry water.” Look for steamed rice, pear, kiwi, and dried apple hints in a gentle and balanced flow that does well chilled and room temperature. As the sake warms a peek-a-boo vein of white chocolate emerges. Smooth, soft, clean and dry this brew is as easy as they come.
