The nose on this newly released nama is filled with cherry, pear, and candy aromas. We love this brewery so much, and it’s great to finally get their first unpasteurized brew in the States. Plump, bright, chewy, and juicy this brew makes you realize that you are tasting a living sake. Look for hints of pear, crisp apple, and honey clover licks that drink fruity, but not sweet. They grow their own rice and this sake let’s one taste the Yamagata experience known as Dewasansan rice. A superbly balanced nama sake that drinks more evenly out of a larger glass.
