This sake uses a brewing yeast called 1401, and the name of prototype "J" comes from this yeast "Ju-yon-go", which means fourteen in Japanese. It has a sweet and aromatic aroma like pear and muscat, a smooth texture, yet crisp aftertaste. It is the one that everyone can enjoy its "Junmai Ginjo" taste. It is recommended to serve chilled at 5-15 degrees Celsius. It goes well with sushi, sashimi, oysters, shellfish.
